Comprehensive Vendor Integration Checklist & Compliance Module
This module is initiated when a DAO member formally applies to become a vendor. It is managed by VendorRegistry.sol and is a prerequisite for listing any product or service on the Co-Op Marketplace.
Part 1: Foundational Compliance & Ethical Alignment (All Industries)
This section verifies the vendor's core identity, legal standing, and explicit agreement to the ecosystem's non-negotiable principles.
**Header:** "Vendor Agreement Part 1: Foundational
Commitments"
Core
Message: The UI will state that becoming a vendor requires a
deep commitment to the ecosystem's legal and ethical standards. It
will reference the **zero-tolerance policy** and explain that all
vendors are subject to KYC/AML checks as a prerequisite for
operating within a VASP-compliant ecosystem.

Checklist:
1.1. Membership & Governance Standing:
☐ I confirm
that I am an active member in good standing of the Hello World
Co-Op DAO, holding a valid, soulbound **Membership NFT**.
☐ I
understand that as a vendor, I remain subject to the DAO's "1
Member = 1 Vote" (1M1V) governance, including community
oversight of marketplace rules and vendor conduct.
1.2. Legal
and Regulatory Compliance:
☐ I agree to
undergo and successfully pass all required identity verification
(**KYC/AML**) checks, as mandated for a Virtual Asset Service
Provider (VASP) and in accordance with the law.
☐ I agree to
provide all necessary information for Ultimate Beneficial Owner
(UBO) reporting if my enterprise structure requires it.
☐ I agree to
comply with all aspects of the DAO's AML/CFT program, including the
**FATF Travel Rule** for relevant transactions and continuous
**OFAC sanctions screening**.
1.3.
Zero-Tolerance Ethical Commitments (Universal):
☐ I agree to
be legally bound by the Co-Op Marketplace's Ethical and
Sustainability Terms of Service.
☐ I certify,
under penalty of sanction, that my entire operation and supply
chain adheres to the zero-tolerance policy against exploitative
labor, including slave, prison, forced, or child labor.
☐ I certify
adherence to the zero-tolerance policy against fraud,
counterfeit goods, and trafficking.
☐ I certify
adherence to the zero-tolerance policy against environmental
degradation, including a commitment to avoid unsustainable
resource extraction and unchecked pollution.
☐ I certify
adherence to the zero-tolerance policy against prejudice, hate,
bigotry, and racism.
1.4.
Accountability & Sanctions:
☐ I
acknowledge that my vendor status can be suspended or revoked by a
DAO vote through the ConflictResolution.sol
process for confirmed violations of these terms.
☐ I agree
that the DAO may require me to stake D.O.M. tokens as collateral,
which may be burned ("slashed") by EthicsCompliance.sol
as a sanction for violations.
Part 2: Operational & Supply Chain Disclosure (All Industries)
This section requires vendors to provide transparent, verifiable data about their production processes and supply chains.
**Header:** "Vendor Agreement Part 2: Operational
Transparency"
Core
Message: The UI will explain that "Transparency as Trust"
is a core principle. To combat greenwashing and verify ethical
claims, vendors must provide detailed operational and supply chain
information.
Itemized
Checklist & Data Input:
2.1. Supply Chain Provenance:
☐ I commit
to providing verifiable data for my entire supply chain to
substantiate all ethical and environmental claims (e.g., "organic,"
"fair trade").
☐ I agree to
utilize SupplyChainTracker.sol
where applicable to record the provenance of goods and aid in
AML/ethical enforcement.
2.2.
Regenerative & Circular Practices:
☐ I will
disclose the primary materials used in my products and my waste
reduction/resource circularity strategies (e.g., reuse, recycling,
composting).
☐ I will
provide data on my operation's ecological footprint (e.g., energy
sources, water usage, emissions) as requested for community
oversight and to counter greenwashing.
2.3.
Financial Integration:
☐ I agree to
the marketplace's tiered fee structure, including the mandatory
1% integration fee and any optional profit-sharing
contributions managed by PaymentRouter.sol
and ProfitDistribution.sol.
☐ I will
provide accurate sales data as required for the correct application
of the tiered fee model.
Part 3: Industry-Specific Verifications (NAICS-Based)
This section "drills down" into specific industries, applying targeted ethical and regenerative standards based on the vendor's primary NAICS code(s).
**Header:** "Vendor Agreement Part 3: Industry-Specific
Standards"
Core
Message: The UI will prompt the vendor to select their primary
NAICS sector and then present the relevant checklist. It will state
that these standards are designed to apply regenerative principles
to specific production processes.
Itemized
Checklists (Examples by Sector):
A. Sector 11: Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing & Hunting
☐
**(Anti-Monoculture):** I certify my operation practices
polyculture, intercropping, or agroforestry, and avoids industrial
monoculture.
