Understanding Results
This guide explains how proposal votes are counted and how outcomes are determined.
How Votes Are Counted
The 1M1V Principle
Under our 1-Member-1-Vote system:
- Each member's vote counts as exactly one vote
- No member can have more influence than another
- All votes are weighted equally
Vote Tallying
When voting closes:
- All For votes are counted
- All Against votes are counted
- Simple majority determines the outcome
Majority Required
Most proposals require a simple majority (more than 50% of votes cast):
If For > Against → Proposal Passes
If Against > For → Proposal FailsINFO
Some special proposals may require a supermajority (e.g., 2/3 or 3/4). Check the proposal details for specific requirements.
Quorum
Some proposals require a minimum number of votes (quorum) to be valid:
| Proposal Type | Quorum Requirement |
|---|---|
| Standard | 10% of active members |
| Governance | 20% of active members |
| Constitutional | 30% of active members |
If quorum is not met, the proposal may be:
- Extended for additional voting time
- Closed as "No Decision" (insufficient participation)
- Resubmitted at a later date

Understanding Vote-Pass NFTs
During voting, each participating member receives a temporary Vote-Pass NFT.
Purpose

- Prevents double voting
- Creates on-chain record of participation
Lifecycle
- Minted when you cast your vote
- Held during the voting period
- Burned when the proposal closes
The NFT is automatically managed - you don't need to do anything.
