Accessing Account Settings

1. Log in to helloworlddao.com
2. Click on your profile icon (top right)
3. Select Settings or Account

Account Information

Your account includes:

Profile Information

• Email address
• Display name (if set)
• Member ID
• Join date

Security Settings

• Password management
• Linked authentication methods
• Session management
• Login history

Preferences

• Notification settings
• Email preferences
• Privacy settings

Authentication Methods

You can sign in using multiple methods:

Method	Description
Email + Password	Traditional login with your registered email
Internet Identity	Secure, passwordless login via ICP
Social Login	Google, Apple, Microsoft, GitHub, or Discord

Linking Additional Methods

You can link multiple authentication methods to your account:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Navigate to Security
3. Click Link Authentication Method
4. Choose and complete the linking process

Session Management

Active Sessions

View and manage your active sessions:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click Sessions
3. See all devices where you're logged in
4. Revoke sessions you don't recognize

Security Recommendations

• Sign out from shared computers
• Revoke unknown sessions immediately
• Use Internet Identity for enhanced security

Updating Your Information

Change Email

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click Change Email
3. Enter your new email address
4. Verify the new email via confirmation link

Change Password

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click Change Password
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter and confirm your new password

Update Notification Preferences

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Navigate to Notifications
3. Toggle preferences for:
   • Voting reminders
   • Renewal notices
   • Security alerts
   • Newsletter

Best Practices

1. Use a strong password - Mix letters, numbers, and symbols
2. Enable Internet Identity - Most secure authentication method
3. Monitor sessions - Check for unauthorized access
4. Keep email current - Required for password reset
